About Wide Bay Sports Academy

Developing your sporting potential

Wide Bay Sports Academy (WBSA) was established to give talented athletes the opportunity to develop their sporting potential without needing to leave the Wide Bay region. We're dedicated to developing confident, disciplined, and motivated athletes through elite-level coaching and a strong focus on personal growth. Based in the Wide Bay region, WBSA provides a supportive, professional environment where young athletes can build skills, resilience, and a lifelong love of sport.

Sporting excellence is developed through more than physical training alone.

Our programs cover the full spectrum of athletic performance: strength and conditioning, nutrition, psychology and mindset, teamwork, leadership, and overall development; helping athletes reach their potential both on and off the field.

We tailor training to suit individual goals and abilities, whether an athlete is just beginning their sporting journey or working towards higher performance pathways.

At WBSA, we’re passionate about creating opportunities, building confidence, and fostering a culture of respect, commitment, and achievement. We work closely with athletes, families, schools, and the wider sporting community to support long-term development and success.
